Confident and Charismatic, Jully Black was on fire at the Commodore. R&B is her gig; a hip-hop buttressing that makes it fresh and interesting. Black’s songs are well written with diverse beats, She delivers heartfelt lyrics with a velvety mist. She believes in what she sings, I iterate, confident and charismatic. Only time will tell if Jully Black will indeed be Canada’s next female R&B star.
